Complex is built around \u003cem\u003eBanka Farm's\u003c\/em\u003e natural lot from Menglian, picked by smallholders from Banka Yi and Banka Er and processed at the farm's own washing station in Yunnan.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eThe producer — Banka Farm, Yunnan\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBanka was started nearly twenty years ago by \u003cstrong\u003eMr. Hu\u003c\/strong\u003e, a local grower who was among the first to take Chinese specialty coffee seriously. Since 2018 it's been run in partnership with \u003cstrong\u003eYunnan Coffee Traders\u003c\/strong\u003e — the team driving China's specialty scene forward, with their own milling, training and research operation across the region. They've been working with our import partners \u003cem\u003eIndochina Coffee\u003c\/em\u003e since 2016.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eThe lot — Banka Natural\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCatimor P3\/P4\u003c\/strong\u003e, grown at \u003cstrong\u003e1,800m\u003c\/strong\u003e, processed as a \u003cem\u003enatural\u003c\/em\u003e. Cherries are picked ripe, fermented and dried whole on raised beds — alongside experimental Pacamara and Yellow Bourbon plots and ongoing yeast-fermentation trials. It's a properly modern Chinese coffee: jammy, fruit-led and built to surprise.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eHow to drink it\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n  \u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eEspresso\u003c\/strong\u003e — best showcase.
